The Lindenwood men's volleyball team fell in its MIVA opener on Friday night in Fort Wayne, Ind. No. 10 IPFW defeated the Lions by scores of 25-21, 25-22, and 26-24.

The Lions were competitive with IPFW for most of the match. They hit .300 for the three sets, compared to .318 for IPFW. Lindenwood had three more blocks, while IPFW finished with three more digs. The big difference was IPFW having five more kills and seven less service errors.

Colin Hackworth led Lindenwood with 10 kills in the match, one more than teammate
Kyle Overby.
Mason Ohta had a team-high eight digs,
Connor Metcalfe had 29 assists and four blocks, and
Logan Jarus had four blocks.

Lindenwood, which is now 2-2 on the season, is back in action tomorrow at Ball State.
