OVERVIEW
Lindenwood men's volleyball opened the 2018 season with a sweep of Erskine its first game of the Off the Block Grow the Game Challenge in Nashville, Tenn. Freshman Johnny Winkler led the Lions in kills (nine) and aces (four) in his first collegiate match. 

NOTABLE
- Johnny Winkler tallied nine kills on 22 swings for a .273 attack percentage.
- Winkler's four aces are the most in a match for Lindenwood since Michael Chard achieved the feat against Grand Canyon on March 25, 2016.
- Nathan Van Dellen had eight kills on 15 attempts for a .400 attack percentage.
- Connor Hipelius recorded seven kills on 11 attacks (.455 attack percentage). 
- Sam Schindler also excelled with five kills on eight swing without an error (.625 attack percentage).
- Setter Adam Brewster had 30 assists in the match.
