GAME OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood men's basketball team (2-1) used a high-powered and balanced scoring attack to roll past Embry-Riddle 94-81 on Sunday afternoon in Orange, Calif. The Lions had six players score in double figures, and finished the game with a field goal percentage of 57.4 percent.
Embry-Riddle built itself a 10-point lead after just 4:22 at 16-6.
Drew Moore knocked down a pair of free throws to end the Eagles run, and begin Lindenwood on a scoring stretch of its own. The Lions scored 20 of the next 24 points over the next 4:46, capped by a
Chris King three-pointer with 10:25 on the clock, to take a 26-20 lead.
Lindenwood would not relinquish its lead for the remainder of the afternoon, and by halftime, had built the lead to 13 points, as
Nicklas Jonsson connected on a three-pointer with 30 seconds to go.
The Lions were lights out from the field during the first half, hitting on 20 of their 29 attempts (69.0 percent), including six of nine from behind the arc.
Lindenwood maintained its lead for the entire second half, and never had the lead slip below double-digits. Following an
Adam Pohlman layup with 5:56 remaining in the game, Lindenwood saw its lead extend to a game-high margin of 19 points.
The Lions held a 13-point lead at 94-81 when time expired, giving Lindenwood its second win of the season.

Brad Newman led Lindenwood in scoring with a 17-point effort. Newman was 5-15 from the field, but connected on seven of eight from the charity stripe.

Chandler Diekvoss had 15 points for the Lions, hitting on six of his eight field-goal attempts. Diekvoss also paced the Lions on the glass, grabbing a team-high eight boards.

Diego Womack provided a huge boost off of the bench for Lindenwood, totaling a career-high 14 points (7-9 FG). Womack added five rebounds, including a team-leading three offensive boards.
- King had 12 points (4-8 FG, 2-5 3PFG), while
TJ Crockett (5-9 FG) and Jonsson (4-4 FG, 3-3 3PFG) each chipped in with 11 points off of the bench.
- Lindenwood had 36 points off of its bench, compared to just 16 from Embry-Riddle.
- The Lions owned the paint over the Eagles, holding a 48-30 edge from down low.
- Lindenwood forced 14 turnovers from Embry-Riddle, while turning the ball over just eight times.
- The Lions total of 94 points is their most against an NCAA Division II opponent since also scoring 94 points on Nob. 16, 2016 against Truman.
