The Lions allowed two big innings to the Prairie Stars including four runs in the first inning. Lindenwood cut the lead in half after the Lions scored a pair of runs with the bases loaded. Illinois-Springfield poured on eight runs in the bottom of the fifth to extend the lead. The Prairie Stars closed out the game with a 14-2 victory over the Lions.
