Radosevic Scores 23 Points in Loss to Southern Indiana

The Lindenwood men's basketball team fell on the road to Southern Indiana, 101-77, on Thursday. The Lions' record now sits at 9-14 with a 3-12 mark in the conference.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions trailed by only three points heading into halftime, after a first half that saw the team shoot 41.7 percent and 36.4 percent from three. Lindenwood only got to the free throw line three times in the first 20 minutes, going 1-3. The Lions led the Screaming Eagles in second chance points in the first half, 10-4, but turned the ball over twice as much as Southern Indiana. TJ Crockett led all Lions scorers with 12 points in the first half.

The second half saw the Screaming Eagles pull away, as they outscored the Lions 63-42 in the half. Lindenwood shot 44.4 percent from the field in the final half, while Southern Indiana shot 68.4 percent from the field. The team amassed just 22 points in the paint in the second half to Southern Indiana's 36. Luka Radosevic dropped 13 points in the second half to lead Lindenwood scorers.

QUOTEABLE
"The game was a tale of two halves," said Head Coach Kyle Gerdeman. "I thought we did a great job defensively in the first. USI played well on both ends and made it hard for us, and they played like a championship-caliber team."
