No. 5 Women's Lacrosse Wins, 16-9, at Walsh

No. 5 Lindenwood women's lacrosse (9-1, 0-0 GLVC) picked up its fourth road victory of the season at Walsh (2-3, 0-0 G-MAC), 16-9.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions led, 9-6, after the first 30 minutes of the game. In the first half of the game, Lindenwood got up 14 shots, to Walsh's 11, while also finishing with more draw controls, 12-4. Both teams made under four saved in the first half, and neither team committed more than eight turnovers.

The second half saw the team continue to dominate, outscoring Walsh, 7-3. Again, the Lions continued to put pressure on the opposition with a higher number of shots, outshooting its opponent, 16-11, in the final 30 minutes. The Lions owned the advantage on second-half draw controls, 8-2, and Lindenwood made six saves in the final half.
