The Lindenwood men's volleyball team (3-2, 0-2 MIVA) suffered a 3-0 defeat to McKendree (3-0, 2-0 MIVA) on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lions fell in the first set, 25-23.
- Lindenwood tallied 10 kills to McKendree's 12 in the opening set.
- The Bearcats led 24-21 late in the first set, before the Lions scored two-straight points, however they were unable to complete the comeback.
- The second set saw both teams finish with an equal amount of kills (9), however the Lions had five more errors than the Bearcats.
- The second set went to McKendree, 25-19.
- Both teams improved their kill totals to 13 in the final set, which the Bearcats secured, 25-18.
- Lindenwood finished with 44.0 points and 32 kills in the match.
- As a team they notched 11 blocks, 31 assists, and 36 digs.
