The Lindenwood women's lacrosse team (9-0, 4-0 GLVC) stayed perfect on the year with a 19-13 win over Missouri Western (3-7, 1-3 GLVC) on Friday night from Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo.
GAME OVERVIEW
After going down 4-1 early, the Lions roared back scoring nine of the next ten goals to lead 10-5 at halftime. Paige Sutton scored three of her four goals on the night during the run. In the half, the Lions outshot Missouri Western 22-9, while scooping up nine more ground balls than the Griffons.
The strong play continued into the second half with Lindenwood scoring the first four goals of the second 30 minutes of play. Lindenwood showed a balanced offensive attack in the half, as eight different Lions registered a goal. The Lions compiled 18 caused turnovers in the win.
