The Lindenwood women's hockey team (5-18-0, 3-6-0 CHA) lost 6-1 to Syracuse (10-9-5, 8-3-1 CHA) on Friday night in Syracuse, N.Y.
GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions fell behind 2-0 after the first period, but battled in the second frame.
Sierra Burt scored late in the second period, as she made it 2-1 at the 16:49 mark with assists from
Megan Wagner and
Casey Adimey. While on the power play, the Orange netted a goal in the final seconds to regain a two goal lead. Syracuse stole momentum and added three goals in the final period to take game one of the series.
