The Lindenwood men's basketball team (9-13, 5-9 GLVC) lost 83-57 on the road to UIndy (12-7, 6-5 GLVC) on Monday night in Indianapolis, Ind.

GAME OVERVIEW
UIndy wasted to time creating distances from the Lions, building a 16-6 lead in the first four minutes of the game. Lindenwood settled in and began to claw back, as a step-back jumper by
Keyyaun Batchmann brought it to a 16-14 game less than four minutes later. The two teams traded three pointers, before
Romelo Burrell registered a three-point play to give Lindenwood a 20-19 lead.

The Greyhounds built another six-point lead, but
Jacoby Ross tied the game at 28-28 with 4:29 to go in the first half. After 20 minutes of play, UIndy held a slim 36-33 lead over the Lions. Both squads shot extremely well from the field, even though the Lions made just 18.2 percent from behind the arc. Ross had nine points through the first frame, while Burrell tallied seven points with five boards.

UIndy played strong again in the first four minutes, but a three-point bucket by
Brandon Trimble, and a pull-up jumper by Ross brought the deficit to just 48-45 at the 13:56 mark. Less than two minutes later, Ross nailed a three pointer to bring the game within one point, but the media time out seemed to take momentum from the Lions. The Greyhounds posted a double-digit lead at the 7:48 mark, and locked in on defense to create a gap to great to overcome.

Ross closed out the night with 20 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the field, while
Kevin Caldwell Jr. posted 14 points with six assists. Lindenwood shot 43.1 percent from the field on Monday, but 13 turnovers led to 23 points on the other end for the Greyhounds.
