Missouri-St. Louis crossed the plate in the first inning due to a fielding error by the Lions in the bottom of the second inning, taking a 1-0 lead.Â
Michael Cessna pitched four quality innings, as he struck out two batters and kept the Tritons from scoring an earned run. Lindenwood surrendered a run in the seventh inning, but struggled at the plate in the 2-0 loss.
