Baseball Powers Past Tennessee Tech on Friday

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. --Sophomore Marcus Heusohn racked up four hits to help propel Lindenwood baseball (7-24, 4-4 OVC) past the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles (9-20, 1-4 OVC) by a margin of 19-12 on Friday.

In addition to his four hits, Heusohn had a double, a walk and an RBI to lead the Lions. Junior Ethan Abercrombie put together a standout performance as well, going 2-for-4 with a grand slam, a walk and six RBI. Senior Joe Copeland also helped out for Lindenwood, putting together two hits in four trips to the plate while adding a home run, a walk and two RBI.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lions scored in seven different innings on the way to the win. Lindenwood broke a 0-0 tie and took the lead for good at 1-0 in the first inning The big hit for the Lions in the inning was a two-run single off the bat of junior Tyson Ludwig.
