ST. CHARLES, Mo. --The Lindenwood baseball team (10-38, 6-12 OVC) lost 18-1 to UT Martin (17-31, 11-10 OVC) on Sunday at Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Mo.
At the plate, the Lions were led by Heusohn, who went 1-for-2 on the day with a triple and a walk.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Trailing 3-0, the Lions first put runs on the board in the first inning. Heusohn came across to score the lone run of the inning for Lindenwood and get them on the board. The Lions were unable to get any closer, as UT Martin added 15 runs to their tally on the way to an 18-1 final.
GAME NOTES
» Marcus Heusohn led the Lions at the plate, going 1-for-2 with a triple.
» UT Martin was led offensively by junior Andrew Fernandez, who went 5-for-6 with two doubles, a home run and four RBI.
» Junior Eric Steensma led the Skyhawks pitching staff, throwing seven innings of one-run ball.
