COLUMBIA, MO. – On Friday morning, the Lindenwood cross country teams traveled to Columbia, Mo., to compete in the Gans Creek Classic hosted by the University of Missouri. The Lions would place 23^rd in the women's 6k and 19^th in the men's 8k.

MEET OVERVIEW
At the meet, there were over twenty NCAA Division I team represented with majority of them coming from Power Five conferences. The Lions would race amongst the likes of the University of Missouri, Marquette, Kansas, Kansas State, Baylor, Texas Tech and many more.

TOP WOMEN'S PERFORMANCE
6k – Holly Harding (23:29.2) placed 124^th, Kadence Berry (24:25.80) placed 178^th, and Kirsten Huffman (25:04.4) placed 195^th.

TOP MEN'S PERFORMANCES
8k – Anders Hekkli (25:31.5) placed 69^th, William Kampfe (26:14.8) placed 115^th, Timothy Maxwell (27:40.3) placed 183^rd.
