Baseball dropped their rubber match to SIUE 9-3, on Sunday afternoon.
 
The first two innings were scoreless for both teams. The Cougars were able to score three runs in the bottom of the third. The fourth, fifth and eighth innings were scoreless as well. In the top of the sixth, seventh, and ninth, Lindenwood scored one run. SIUE scored five in the bottom of the sixth and one in the bottom of the seventh.
 
The Lions finished with three runs on 12 hits and two errors, while the Cougars tallied nine runs on 12 hits and one error. Josh Newell took the loss for Lindenwood on the mound. Colin Shea finished with two hits and one run. ­­­Bryson Arnette tallied three hits, two RBIs and one run. Evan Funkhouser recorded one run and one hit. Quite a few Lions landed one run.
 
Lindenwood will play at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, on Tuesday, March 26^th at 6:00 pm before returning home to host Little Rock on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
