MATCHUP PREVIEW
The Lions are looking for a win over the Chanticleers to get a chance to play in the ASUN Tournament. The Lions finished out the regular season with a 13-4 overall record and a record of 3-3 in ASUN play.
This will be second year in a row the Lions will face off against the Chanticleers in the ASUN Tournament. Historically, the Lions are 1-2 against the Chanticleers. In the last matchup (March 30, 2024), Lindenwood fell to Coastal Carolina 15-13.
Coastal Carolina received the second seed in the ASUN Tournament, finishing the regular season with a 12-5 record and 5-1 record in ASUN play. In their final game of the regular season, Coastal Carolina defeated Kennesaw State 17-7.
