Prior to Lindenwood:
Attended Southeast Missouri University … last season started four and appeared in 24 games for the Red Hawks, accumulating a 5-2 record … had his best start against IPFW, where he pitched five innings, allowing only two runs, while accumulating seven strikeouts … had ten appearances where he didn’t allow a single run … started nine games in 2012 for the Red Hawks … pitched 70 innings; which was good enough for second on the team … went 4-7, with a team-leading 4 saves.

High school:
Hull was a three-year starter for the Jaguars of Zumwalt West... During high school, he went 11-3 on the mound with a 1.56 earned run average … he struck out 96 batters in 81.0 innings of work ... Hull also hit.382 with 89 hits, 24 doubles and 65 runs batted in... His senior year he was named to the All-District Team after an impressive 9.38 strikeouts per seven innings ... He struck out 46 batters in 34 innings, while hitting .386... As a junior, he went 7-1 with a 1.63 ERA... Hull was also impressive in the classroom, earning a 3.55 grade point average, making the Honor Roll all eight semesters as a high school student.
