Ryan Huck

Ryan Huck is in his first season as a graduate assistant coach for the Lindenwood baseball team in 2016.

Huck attended Western Kentucky for four years and was a catcher and first baseman for the Hilltoppers. He earned first-team All-Sun Belt Conference honors in 2013 after hitting .367 with 16 home runs and 56 RBIs. He also led the team with 43 runs, 16 doubles, 136 total bases, a .469 on-base percentage, and a .694 slugging percentage. He was a semifinalist for the Gregg Olsen Award for the National Breakout Player of the Year.

After college, Huck was drafted in 2013 by the Oakland Athletics in the 27th round. He was a 2013 New York Penn League All-Star, and was named the MVP of the All-Star Game.

Huck is originally from St. Louis and attended Oakville High School. He graduated from Western Kentucky with a degree in Sports Management.
