Don Hager has been the Volunteer Head Coach of the D1 AA-Black team since the 2020-2021 season.
While coaching at Lindenwood, Don continues to coach top level club teams in national tournaments as well as High School ice and roller hockey. Before coaching at Lindenwood, Don has been the assistant coach and head coach for the Rockwood Summit Ice Hockey program, the president and head coach for the Rockwood Summit Roller Hockey program, and a head coach for multiple national tournament teams representing the St. Louis area and the state of Missouri. Under his leadership the Rockwood Summit Roller Hockey program has won numerous championships in his tenure. His tournament teams have won multiple championships at various age & skill levels. Don also spends his Saturdays supporting a developmental hockey program in the St. Louis area.Â
As a player, Don has been part of several championship winning teams, at the state and national level, throughout his 35 plus years of playing, as a goaltender. Don was also inducted into the Missouri Inline Hockey Association’s Hall of Fame in 2022.
