Tyler Fenton is entering his second year with the Lindenwood women's volleyball program in 2023.
The Lindenwood women’s volleyball team finished its first year in the Ohio Valley Conference with a record of 12-17, including an 8-10 mark against conference opponents. The Lions made an OVC Tournament appearance, going all the way to the semifinals. Mackenzi Sifuentes garnered All-OVC first-team honors as she led the conference with a .363 hit percentage.
Prior to Lindenwood, Fenton started at Maryville in the fall of 2019, serving as both the women's and men's assistant coach for three years. Fenton had a large role in coaching the Maryville women to their most conference wins since the 2015 season, the most double digit wins since the 2015 season and since 2019, improved his squads in every single statistical category each year.
Fenton came to the Saints after one season as an assistant coach at fellow GLVC school, Quincy. Fenton oversaw the setters and middle blockers for the Hawks. Prior to QU, Fenton was an assistant at NCAA Division I Eastern Washington. He was camp director for EWU and managed all travel for the team, recruiting and coaching staff.
Fenton also spent one season as the head women's volleyball coach at Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario, Ore. He also has previous coaching experience as the Club Director for Idaho Strike Boys Volleyball, and he was the varsity assistant coach for the Rocky Mountain High School girl's team in Meridian, Idaho.
Before entering the collegiate volleyball coaching world, Fenton graduated from Boise State University in 2014. As a player, he was a four-year starter at setter and earned Pacific Intercollegiate Volleyball Association first-team honors in 2011 and 2012.
