Griffin Manning is entering his first year with the Lindenwood Athletics Department as the Coordinator of Athletic Compliance and Community Service.
Manning joins the Lindenwood family after one year as a Compliance Assistant at Cleveland State University, gaining experience working in athletic compliance, primarily focused in areas such as Rules Education, IRL, APR, GSR, and Official/Unofficial Visit Requests, all while simultaneously completing a Master of Business Administration in Sport and Entertainment Management. Manning also worked in collaboration with the Cleveland State Athletics Department and the Cleveland State Recreation Center, as the Coordinator/Graduate Supervisor of Aquatics and Safety.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Manning graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cleveland State University with his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management in 2022 and will complete a master's degree in the Fall of 2023. During his time at CSU, Manning served as 3x team captain of the Men’s Swimming and Diving Team, was a 5x All-Conference First Team, a 3x Scholar All-America Team Representative, and a multi-time Conference Champion in the Horizon League.
Manning has been considered a leader throughout his time in collegiate athletics, representing the Swimming and Diving Team on either the President’s or Dean’s List every semester at Cleveland State. Additionally, Manning qualified for the United States Swimming Olympic Team Trials in 2021, finishing 50th in the 100-meter breaststroke.
