Jameson Adams joined the Lindenwood staff in April of 2023. Adams will serve as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Special Projects and Strategic Initiatives serving on the Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics' cabinet.
Adams comes to Lindenwood after spending the last four years at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville as Assistant Athletics Director. He was elevated from Assistant AD of Internal Operations to Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations and Fan Engagement in September of 2020.
In this role at SIUE, Adams oversaw events and facilities while organizing additional efforts to promote athletics and connect with fans on campus and within the community. He also served as the game day administrator for men’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and softball.
Adams boasts a tremendous amount of marketing experience. At SIUE,  he had a hand in designing and implementing marketing plans and social media strategies to engage students, faculty, staff, and community. He was an integral piece in game day operations and managing rentals.
Prior to his time in Edwardsville, Adams after serving as an Associate Athletic Director at St. Edward’s University, an NCAA Division II school in Austin, Texas, since 2015. At St. Edward’s Adams was involved in all aspects of Hilltopper Athletics and was directly responsible for facility management for all athletic venues, while also overseeing marketing, promotions, communications, and event management. He also served as a liaison to residence life for student-athlete housing, managed corporate partnerships and directed the University’s licensing program. Adams also was sport supervisor for men’s and women’s tennis.
Before arriving at St. Edward’s, Adams served in a variety of roles at the University of Texas at Tyler from 2008-2015. He began as an Assistant Director of Recreational Sports before working up to the position of Director of Marketing, Promotions and Event Management.
A former student-athlete, Adams played college baseball at Cedarville University in Ohio, where he earned his bachelor’s in 2003. He obtained a Master of Arts in Sports and Recreation Management from Kent State University and a Sports Turfgrass Management Certificate from the University of Georgia.
