Katie Zingg joined the Lindenwood staff in August of 2022. Zingg will serve as the Senior Associate Athletics Director and Senior Woman Administrator.
Zingg spent 13 years at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville as the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance. Zingg was promoted to Senior Woman Administrator in July of 2016. During her time at SIUE, Zingg was a sport administrator, and worked as a liaison between athletics and human resources. Zingg joined SIUE when the Cougars were making the transition from NCAA Division II to the Division I level.
While at SIUE, she provided assistance, support, interpretation, and coordination in overseeing all procedures necessary to SIUE Athletics in complying with NCAA, and all conference rules and regulations. Zingg coordinated NCAA rules education programs for administrators, coaches, student-athletes and booster groups. Zingg oversaw all areas of compliance, including initial and continuing eligibility for the department. She also assisted with the Student Services/Academics area by mentoring student-athletes.
Prior to her arrival in Edwardsville, Zingg was a member of the Intellectual Property Law Society, the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, the Family Law Society and the law student division of the American Bar Association. She currently is a member of the National Association for Athletic Compliance (NAAC). Zingg earned a juris doctorate in 2009 from Michigan State University, and worked two years in Michigan State's Office of Compliance Service. Zingg earned a bachelor's in sports management in 2002 from Lindenwood University, and a master of business administration from Lindenwood in 2003.
