Series Notes- The Lindenwood women's hockey team looks to continue its best conference start this weekend with a two-game series at Penn State. The Lady Lions and Nittany Lions will skate at 7 p.m. (eastern time) on Friday evening, and at 2 p.m. (eastern time) on Saturday afternoon.
- Lindenwood is tied for second in the CHA with a 2-1-1 conference mark, and it is 3-6-1 overall on the season. Last time out, the Lady Lions split two overtime games with Robert Morris. The Colonials won the first game 3-2, and Lindenwood won the second game by a 4-3 margin.
- Penn State is currently 6-5-3 overall and 1-2-1 in CHA play. The Nittany Lions split a series at defending CHA champion RIT last weekend. They lost the first game by a 3-0 margin, but bounced back to win the second game in overtime by a 3-2 score.
- Lindenwood leads the all-time series with Penn State by a 5-2-1 margin. The Lady Lions have never lost at Penn State as they have a 3-0-1 mark on the road against the Nittany Lions.
- Last season, Lindenwood went 3-1-0 against Penn State, despite both teams scoring nine goals in the series. In Wentzville, the Lady Lions won the opener 2-1, while Penn State won game two by a 4-1 margin. Lindenwood earned a road sweep later in the year by scores of 2-1 and 4-3.
- Lindenwood and Penn State both joined the CHA in the 2012-13 season. The Lady Lions are in their fourth season as a NCAA program, while the Nittany Lions are in their third year.
Lindenwood Notes- Lindenwood scored the first two goals in game one of the Robert Morris series, but the Colonials came back for a 3-2 overtime win.

Katie Erickson was one of three Lindenwood skaters with at least three points in the series, with two goals and one assist. She scored the game-winning overtime goal, the second game-winning goal of her career.
