No. 3 Lindenwood women's lacrosse (5-1, 0-0 GLVC) lost to No. 16 Grand Valley State (2-1, 0-0 GLIAC), 16-13, on Wednesday.
GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions rallied from down 1-6 to tie the game at 8-8 going into halftime. Lindenwood was outshot, 15-11, in the first 30 minutes of the game, however the Lions recorded more saves than the Lakers, 3-1. In the first half of the game, Lindenwood recorded eight ground balls, but only five draw controls to Grand Valley State's 12.
After taking the lead in the second half, 10-9, the Lakers rallied back to put themselves ahead. Grand Valley State would never trail again, past the 20-minute mark in the second half. Lindenwood was able to put up 15 shots in the second half, but could muster only one save. The team scooped up five ground balls, while finishing with eight draw controls in the final 30 minutes of the game.

- Carly Fedorowski led the team with four goals scored. Lexy Biller scored three goals, while Hannah Doughty and Erin McGuire added two for the team.
- Callie Eldred and Paige Sutton both finished with one goal scored in the game.
- Of the team's four assists in the game, McGuire had three. Fedorowski also recorded an assist.
- Shannon Modl scooped a team-high four ground balls. Eleanor Kast, Fedorowski, and McGuire recorded three ground balls, each.
- Modl led the team with five draw controls.
- Fedorowski caused a team-high three turnovers. Modl forced two turnovers against the Lakers.
