CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. --The Lindenwood Lions had a tough showing on Friday, falling to the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks by final score of 10-2.
Sophomore Preston Salazar (1-9) started and took the loss on the mound for Lindenwood (9-33, 5-8).
At the plate, the Lions were paced by senior Sam Kissane, who went 0-for-4 on the day with an RBI.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Trailing 3-0, the Lions first put runs on the board in the sixth inning. Lindenwood managed to push across two runs in the inning. The Lions were unable to get any closer, as Southeast Missouri State added seven runs to their tally on the way to a 10-2 final.
