The Lindenwood football program will host its annual spring game at 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo.
"Looking forward to a great atmosphere Friday night for our spring game", said head coach
Jed Stugart. "Excited to see so many recruits, our future Lions, fans, and parents as we watch another evaluation opportunity for our guys in what will be a great game day environment. Always a great way to end spring workouts!"
The Lions will close out the spring semester with one final evaluation of the current roster. Lindenwood brings back key pieces on offense as
Robert Giaimo will look to have a strong sophomore season. Lindenwood returns first team all-conference selection
Jeff Caldwell on the outside. Last season, the Louisville, Ky. native led the Big South-OVC with eight touchdown catches. Up front, the black and gold will have plenty of experience with
Gareth Warren and
Ethan Johnson set for their fourth season in black and gold.
Defensively,
Ethan Stuhlsatz returns as the leading tackler from a year ago, a season in which he was a second team all-conference selection.
Taylen Blaylock will be a key piece on the back end of the defense in 2024 after he led the team in interceptions with three a year ago.
Devon Edwards looks to hold down the linebacker core after having his season cut short due to injury. Up front,
Kobe McClendon brings his team-high 6.5 sacks to the defensive front, while
Jayden Patrick and
Tre Bell line up at corner.
In December, Lindenwood announced the addition of 17 player with local talent making up a big portion of the class. The Lions brought in nine players on the offensive side of the ball, and eight defensive guys, with a few transfers. Read more about the class

The two teams met back in 2022 in what was a 52-49 Lindenwood victory in Conway, Ark. The black and gold travel to Springfield, Mo. for a matchup with Missouri State on September 14. The Bears went 4-7 last season. Overall, Lindenwood will host six games inside Hunter Stadium.
