The Lindenwood football team is set to open the 2024 season with a non-conference game against the University of Kansas Jayhawks held at Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kan. on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 7:00 p.m. CT.  This marks the first game for the Lions against a Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) opponent.
 
Due to renovations at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium in Lawrence, Kan., this game will be played at Children's Mercy Park home of the Major League Soccer Club Sporting Kansas City. Located at One Sporting Way, Kansas City, Kan. this stadium seats 25,000 fans with 36 suites.
