2008






The Lindenwood Lion Line dance won its first ever national championship in 2008 at the UDA National Championships. The Lady Lions won the national championship in the Open Hip Hop competition. The Lion Line defeated 10 other programs for the title, including runner-up St. Thomas and two-time defending champs Orange Coast College. 












2009





In 2009 the Lindenwood Lion dance team defended its 2008 Hip Hop championship at the UDA National Championships. In the Open Hip Hop competition the Lady Lions earned a score of 736.5 points out of 800, easily winnings its second national championship by 22 points over St. Thomas. 














2010
Lion Line-2010 National Champions






The Lindenwood Lion Line dance team won its third straight national championship in 2009-10, capturing another Open Hip Hop title at the Universal Dance Association Collegiate National Championships. The Lion Line recorded a score of 645 out of a possible 700 in the Hip Hop division. That score was good enough for the program’s third straight first-place finish in that event. 
















2012




For the fourth time in program history, Lion Line won a national title at the 2012 UCA/UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team Championships in Orlando, Fla.  The Lady Lions were in first place after the semifinal round of competition in the Open Division Hip Hop category and remained on top through the finals to win the event with an average score of 94.6 out of 100.  Lindenwood finished ahead of the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, Minn.) in second and the University of Puerto Rico Bayamon in third. 
















2013







The Lion Line dance team won its second straight national championship by capturing the title in the Open Hip Hop division at the 2013 UCA/UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team Championships at the Wide World of Sports Theme Park inside Disney World in Orlando, Fla.  It was the fifth title in the last six years for the Lady Lions.  Lindenwood was one of 10 schools that advanced through the semifinals.  In the finals round, the Lady Lions finished ahead of the University of Saint Thomas (Minn.) in second and Avila University (Mo.) in third. 













2015

The Lindenwood Lion Line dance team made program history at the 2015 UCA and UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championships in Orlando, Fla., by winning the title in the Open Jazz division for the first time.  It was the sixth national championship overall for Line Line, with five previous trophies all coming in the Open Hip Hop division.

The Lady Lions were one of 13 teams to advance through the semifinals in Open Jazz, and they had to wait until the other 12 squads performed before finally taking the stage in the finals, but the best was saved for last as Lindenwood emerged on top of the pack ahead of the University of St. Thomas in second, Minnesota State University – Mankato in third, and Orange Coast College in fourth.












2017

Line Line captured its seventh national title in program history by winning the Open Jazz division at the Universal Dance Association (UDA) College Dance Team National Championships January 14-15 at the Walt Disney Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida. 

The Lady Lions sat in first place out of 33 squads, the largest of any division at the event, after the semifinals.  The top 17 teams advanced to the finals where Lindenwood maintained its position at the top to claim the title ahead of the University of St. Thomas in second, Minnesota – Duluth in third, Orange Coast College in fourth, and Central Oklahoma in fifth.12124
