Shawn Dulohery enters his ninth season at the helm of the Lindenwood Shotgun Sports program. Dulohery was named the head coach in the summer of 2008, and has guided the program to consecutive national championships.
In 2015, Dulohery coached Lindenwood to a historical performance at the ACUI Intercollegiate National Championships. The team shot an overall score of 2,255 out of 2,350 targets to capture the 2015 National Championship.  Senior Morgan Craft had a difficult decision in deciding whether to compete for the University at Nationals, or compete at the World level in Cyprus. She decided to represent the stars and stripes. While in Cyprus, she captured the silver medal. Two months later, she won the 2015 World Championships in Italy and earned the privilege to represent the United States of America at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro. In turn, the team members voted to allow her the opportunity to receive the 2015 National Champion Ring. Coach Dulohery was extremely proud of the team for supporting her decision. In turn, she was awarded the 2015 National Champion Ring.Â
In 2016, Lindenwood Shotgun Sports will be competing for an unprecedented 13th straight national championship.Â
Dulohery was stationed at the United State Army Marksmanship Unit for 21 years prior to joining Lindenwood. He was a shooter and instructor who represented the United States Army and the United States in National and World Competition. While at the AMU, he won several National and World titles and broke National & World Records.
Dulohery is a native of Missouri, growing up in Lee's Summit. He was recently inducted into the Lee's Summit High School Hall of Fame for his volunteer work, coaching and shooting accomplishments. He attended Park University and graduated from there in 1988 with a communication arts degree.
