    Shotgun Sports Volunteer Assistant Coach
Tom Ruck joined the shotgun sports staff as an assistant coach in January 2020.  .  The Missouri resident brings over 55 years combined experience as an instructor, coach, and competitor to the program.

Ruck has been a professional shotgun instructor for 15 years, and most recently served as the head coach of the program at Drury University through January 2019.  He is certified as a NSCA Level 2 instructor.

As a competitor, Ruck has a long list of awards and accomplishments.  He is a multiple First Team All-American in international skeet, sporting clays, and Fitasc.  He has been a Team USA member in international skeet and a two-time member in Fitasc.  Ruck earned High Overall national podiums in international skeet and Fitasc; High Overall regional championships international skeet, sporting clays, and Fitasc; and High Overall state championships in skeet, international skeet, sporting clays, five-stand, and Fitasc. 

Ruck is a local graduate of Parkway West High School and attended (Southwest) Missouri State University and the University of Kansas.
