Lions Continue to Roll

After opening the season with a 6-6 record, the Lindenwood men's volleyball team is starting to find itself at the right time. Thursday night, the Lions swept Quincy 30-22, 30-22, 30-23 to run their winning streak to a season-high five matches.

Earlier in the year, Quincy knocked off Lindenwood in five sets, marking the first time Hawks had done so since 2003. The second time around, the Lions quickly re-established order.

Mike Warren had 12 kills to led the team and Rick Hess chipped in with 11. Mike Larson engineered 42 assists and converted two aces to also pace the offensive. JM Plummer had 11 digs and Matt Schmack and Warren both had a team-high six blocks each.

Lindenwood (11-6, 4-2) will travel to the St. Ambrose Tournament on March 5th.
