Lions Win Against Central State on the Road

Box Score  Kramer Soderberg and Alex Bazzell combined for 48 points in the Lindenwood Lions 95-83 win over Central State on Friday night in Wilberforce, Ohio.

Lindenwood outscored the Marauders 49-40 in the first half, and scored 46 more in the second half.

For the game, the Lions shot 48 percent from the field, and 54 percent from behind the three-point line. The free-throw line was a big factor in the contest. The Lions attempted 47 free throws compared to just 24 for Central State. Lindenwood was 40-for-47 from the line, while Bazzell and Soderberg were a combined 21-for-24.

Soderberg led the way offensively scoring 28 points. Bazzell chipped in with 20 points and Garrett Reeg scored 14. Efkan Eren led the team with eight rebounds and also scored 12.

With the win the Lions improved to 6-1. Lindenwood will be back in action again Saturday afternoon when the team takes on Wilberforce.
