The Lindenwood men's volleyball team defeated Missouri Baptist 3-1 on Tuesday night at the Hyland Arena. The Lions won with scores of 25-21, 33-31, 24-26, 25-16.
Leading Lindenwood in kills was
Mike Warren with 11, while
JM Plummer and
Matt Schmack each tallied nine kills.
Mike Larson and
Carson Grissinger recorded 19 and 17 assists, respectively. Defensively, Schmack led with six blocks, and
Mike Emerick had 12 digs.
With the win, the Lions move their overall record to 14-7 and push their conference record to 5-2. Lindenwood will stay at home this weekend to play host to Johnson and Wales in a two-game series. The first game begins at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, and the second game will start at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
