Box Score The Lindenwood men's volleyball team opened its 2014 season on Friday evening with a 3-0 road loss at Sacred Heart. The Lions fell by scores of 25-20, 25-22, and 25-22.

The two teams had similar numbers throughout the match except in the serving category. The Lions had just one service ace in the game and made 12 serving errors. Sacred Heart had seven service aces and nine serving errors.

Michael Adams led the offense with 10 kills. He had a .435 hitting percentage and no hitting errors. David Poole led the team with seven digs, Zach Bequette had a team-high five blocks, and Tim Schmidt recorded 31 assists.

Lindenwood will look for its first win under new head coach Kris Dorn on Saturday with a match at NJIT.
