Box Score The Lindenwood men's volleyball team lost its second straight conference match on Saturday night at Hyland Arena. The Lions fell to No. 15 Ball State by scores of 23-25, 25-21, 25-20, and 25-17.
Ball State's front line kept Lindenwood's offense off-balance the whole night as the Lions hit just .157, their lowest mark of the season. The Cardinals had 13 blocks and Lindenwood had 15 other unforced hitting errors. Ball State's defense also had 47 digs in the match.

Colin Hackworth finished with a match-high 19 kills and he hit .310.
Zach Bequette also had success hitting with eight kills and a .636 hitting percentage.
Tim Schmidt finished with 39 assists and Hackworth had a team-high three service aces. Defensive leaders included Schmidt with 12 digs,
David Poole with 10 digs, and Hackworth with a team-high two blocks.
Lindenwood falls to 8-4 overall and 3-3 in the MIVA. The Lions head to the east coast next week for matches with Belmont Abbey, Limestone, and Pfeiffer.
