Tuesday's Game At A Glance• The Lindenwood men's basketball team starts a six-game homestand on Tuesday night with a 7 p.m. game against Quincy. The contest is also the final non-conference regular season game for the Lions.
• Lindenwood is currently 4-1 in its non-conference action, its best record since going 7-1 during the 2012-13 season. The Lions earned its largest margin of victory last Tuesday with a 75-54 win over Illinois Springfield. The defense held the Prairie Stars to just 30.4 percent shooting from the field.
• Quincy opened the season with three straight losses, but it has bounced back to win its last two games. Last Tuesday, it earned a 74-48 win over Hannibal-LaGrange.
• Both Lindenwood and Quincy are among their conference leaders in blocked shots. The Lions are second in the MIAA with 4.0 blocks a game, while the Hawks are first in the GLVC with 5.8 blocks a contest.
• Lindenwood and Quincy have played once every season since the 2012-13 campaign. The Lions are 2-1 all-time versus the Hawks, and they have won two straight in the series. Lindenwood has scored 74 points in all three games, and is allowing 70.7 points in those contests. The Lions won the only previous meeting at Hyland Arena by a 74-58 score two years ago.
Lindenwood Notes• Lindenwood has held every opponent it has played this year except for one under 70 points. The Lions are allowing 66.8 points a game, which ranks second in the MIAA and 29th in NCAA Division II.
• The Lions are also second in the conference and in the top-50 in the nation by allowing opponents to shoot just 40.1 percent from the field.
• Lindenwood leads NCAA Division II by committing the fewest fouls per game. The Lions are committing just 12.8 fouls per contest, and opponents are shooting just 12 free throws a game.
• Lindenwood has outrebounded its opponent in every game this season, and ranks 30th in the nation with a +8.0 rebounding margin. Over the last three games, the Lions have outrebounded their opponents by nearly 11 boards a contest.
• Lindenwood ranks fourth in the MIAA in field-goal shooting and three-point field shooting, and is second in free-throw percentage. The Lions are shooting 48.2 percent from the field, 40.4 percent from three-point range, and 76.6 percent from the free-throw line.

Cory Arentsen as the only Lions who have scored in double-figures in every game this season. Newman has scored between 12 and 18 points in each contest. He leads the team with 24 made free throws, and also with 16 assists.

Nick Van Osdale is averaging 14.0 points off the bench over the last two games. In that span, he has hit seven-of-eight three-pointers. Versus Illinois Springfield, Van Osdale hit all five three-pointers he attempted, and had career-highs with 19 points and seven rebounds.

A Look At Quincy• Quincy opened the season with losses to Grand Valley State, Ferris State, and Upper Iowa, but has bounced back with wins over Robert Morris-Springfield and Hannibal-LaGrange.
• Quincy leads the GLVC in steals and blocks, and is fourth in assists. It is forcing a league-best 17.0 turnovers a game.
• Joseph Tagarelli is the Hawks' leader with 17.8 points and 6.8 rebounds a game. He is shooting 62.7 percent from the field.
• Evan McGaughey and Thomas Jackson are both averaging 10.4 points a game. McGaughey leads the team with eight blocks, and Jackson has a team-high nine steals.
• The Hawks went 13-16 last year, including 7-11 in GLVC play.
