Things to Know
• The Lindenwood men's basketball team will host the Washburn Ichabods from inside Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo. on Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m.
• Thursday's matchup between Lindenwood and Washburn will include two of the hottest teams from within the MIAA. Including its win at Lincoln on Tuesday night, Lindenwood has picked up three straight wins, all coming on the road. While Washburn has won five straight games, and eight of its last 10 contests.
• Lindenwood and Washburn met earlier this season in Topeka, Kan. on Feb. 2. The Ichabods prevailed in the game, earning an 84-77 win.
• Since joining the MIAA prior to the start of the 2012-13 season, Lindenwood and Washburn have faced each other eight times. The Ichabods own a 7-1 edge in the all-time series, and have secured five straight victories.
• Following its win on Tuesday evening in Jefferson City, Mo., Lindenwood has now won at least one game on each day of the week this season. The Lions have recorded their most wins on Thursday's (4), followed by Friday (3) and Saturday (3).

Brad Newman scored 30 points (9-of-18 FG, 10-of-11 FT)at Lincoln on Feb. 19, his fourth game this season with at least 30 points.
• Newman has led Lindenwood in scoring in 14 separate games this season, and has reached double-digit scoring in 26 of his 27 contests in 2018-19.
• Newman leads Lindenwood and is tied for fourth in the MIAA in scoring average at 20.7 points per game. In his 16 games against conference opponents this season, Newman leads the MIAA in scoring average at 23.3 points per game.
• Newman connected on 10-of-11 free throws in the game at Lincoln on Feb. 19, his third game this season with at least 10 makes from the charity stripe. Newman is shooting 84.5 percent on his free throws this season, first on the team among qualified shooters (min. 2.5 ftm/g).

Adam Pohlman scored 17 points at Lincoln on Feb. 19, his second-most points in a game this season, and his most in a game since scoring 20 points at Florida Southern back on Dec. 15.
• Pohlman dished out a team-leading eight assists, the third time in the last four games that he has had at least eight assists in a game.
• Pohlman leads Lindenwood and is ranked third in the MIAA in assists, averaging 5.1 per game.
• Pohlman leads the MIAA in assist-to-turnover ratio and ranks second in NCAA Division II with a mark of 3.97.

Chandler Diekvoss reached double-digit scoring on Feb. 19 at Lincoln, finishing the game with exactly 10 points. Diekvoss has 18 games this season with at least 10 points, including four straight games.
• On Feb. 18, Diekvoss was selected as the MIAA Men's Basketball Co-Athlete of the Week. Diekvoss averaged 24.0 points per game and 9.0 rebounds per game during Lindenwood's two road victories last week.

Diego Womack grabbed six rebounds in the win at Lincoln on Feb. 19, tying for a share of the team lead. Diekvoss and Newman also collected six rebounds apiece in the game.
• Diekvoss leads Lindenwood and is tied for seventh in the MIAA in rebounding this season, averaging 6.8 rebounds per game. Womack is ranked 25th in the MIAA and second on the team with an average of 5.1 rebounds per game.
• The Lions narrowly lost the rebounding battle at Lincoln on Feb. 19, 31-30. It was the 11th time this season that Lindenwood was out-rebounded by its opponent, but it was the first time that the Lions managed to win the game.
• Lindenwood committed just eight turnovers in its game at Lincoln on Feb. 19. Lindenwood has not committed more than 10 turnovers in any of its last four games, during which the team has a 3-1 record.
• The Lions have had each of their last four games decided by single-digit margins, going 3-1 over that stretch. On the season, Lindenwood is 5-11 in games decided by fewer than 10 points.
Scouting the Competition
• Washburn arrives in St. Charles, Mo. with a record of 19-5, including a 12-3 mark from within the MIAA.

• The Ichabods rank second in the MIAA in scoring margin this season, defeating opponents by an average of 11.6 points per game.
• Javion Blake leads Washburn in scoring at 19.9 points per game. Blake is hitting on 49.2 percent of his shots, including a team-high 54 makes from three-point territory.
• David Salach is the Ichabod's leading rebounder, averaging 5.8 rebounds per game. Salach ranks second on the team in scoring, averaging 12.7 points per game.
