Men's Basketball Visits Quincy on Saturday

The Lindenwood men's basketball team (2-0, 2-0 GLVC) will head to Quincy, Ill. on Saturday to take on Quincy (0-3, 0-3 GLVC) at 3:15 p.m.  The Lions are coming off a 73-69 win over Maryville on Thursday night.

TJ Crockett posted another great stat line for the Lions, but the spark came from Anthony Christian and his 15 points off the bench.  Christian went to work in the paint in the second half, and accumulated six points in a span of 1:13 of game time to ignite the Lions.

Romelo Burrell grabbed double-digit rebounds in his second-straight game, as the 6-7 senior is averaging 11.5 boards per game.  Crockett is averaging 25 points per game as he is shooting 50 percent from the field.

The Hawks are led by Tanner Stuckman who is averaging 19.3 point per game.  Quincy is shooting 44 percent from the field, but it has committed 52 turnovers through just three games this year.

The Lions earned a 74-64 win over the Hawks last season on the road.  Lindenwood has scored exactly 74 points in four of the five meetings between the Lions and the Hawks.  Last season, Crockett scored a game-high 24 points, while Cameron Scales hit three three-pointers in his 13-point effort.
