The Lindenwood men's basketball team (5-5, 5-5 GLVC) will look to get back on the winning track on Saturday, as the Lions host Quincy (3-7, 3-7 GLVC) at 3:00 p.m. inside Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
The Lions are coming off a tough 82-76 loss to Illinois Springfield, in which
Anthony Christian registered a double-double (15 points, 10 rebounds). Lindenwood was down 15 points in the second half, but clawed all the way back to take a late lead. The Lions could not pull off the road win on Thursday in Springfield, Ill.
Lindenwood took down Quincy 88-74 in the first meeting back in early December.Â
Kevin Caldwell Jr. had a strong first half, as he dropped 13 points.Â
TJ Crockett was held to just two points in the first 20 minutes of play, but the senior guard erupted for an impressive 23 points in the second half. The Lions scored 51 points in the second frame to earn the 14-point road win.
The Hawks are led by Tanner Stuckman who is averaging 19.1 points per game on 59.7 percent shooting from the field.
