Men's Basketball Hosts Southwest Baptist on Saturday

The Lindenwood men's basketball team (6-7, 6-7 GLVC) looks to bounce back on Saturday, as the Lions host Southwest Baptist (11-2, 11-2 GLVC) at 3:30 p.m. inside Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.

Lindenwood will look to get back on the winning path this weekend, after a tough loss on Thursday.  TJ Crockett led the Lions with 25 points, while Romelo Burrell posted a quality 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field.

Crockett remains one of the top point producers in NCAA Division II as his 26.2 points per game ranks second in the country.  The University City, Mo. native is just as valuable on the defensive end, as his 23 steals and 13 blocks rank inside the top-25 in the nation.

The Lions fell to Southwest Baptist earlier this season by a final of 87-73.  The Bearcats had the upper hand in the rebounding department, securing a spread of 12 rebounds.  In the 14 games played between the two teams in the NCAA era, the Lions and Bearcats have won seven apiece.  Southwest Baptist has won the last three meetings, including two as GLVC foes.
