The Lindenwood men's basketball team (7-7, 7-7 GLVC) will take on Drury (5-8, 5-8 GLVC) on Thursday in Springfield, Mo. starting at 7:45 p.m.
The Lions are coming off a thrilling 91-90 double-overtime victory over Southwest Baptist this past Saturday.Â
TJ Crockett led the Lions with his 30 points, earning his third GLVC Player of the Week honor in the process.Â
Romelo Burrell registered his second double-double of the season, while Crockett has now scored 30 points or more in four games this season.
The Lions were dialed in from long range as they hit 48.1 percent of their three-point shots. The Bearcats came into the night receiving votes in the NABC Coaches Poll. Lindenwood hopes to avenge its loss to Drury earlier this season, when the Panthers won 90-84 over the Lions in St. Charles, Mo.
The Lions are looking to hit their stride as the home stretch of the season approaches. The GLVC has three teams either inside the top-25 or receiving votes in the NABC Poll (Truman State, Missouri-St. Louis, and Southwest Baptist), the Lions have defeated two of those teams.
