Men's Basketball Concludes Road Trip on Saturday

The Lindenwood men's basketball team (7-8, 7-8 GLVC) will head to Rolla, Mo. on Saturday to take on Missouri S&T (4-11, 4-11 GLVC) at 3:00 p.m.

The Lions took down the Miners in the first game of the season by a final of 89-70 in Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.  TJ Crockett led all scorers with 31 points on 10-of-18 shooting from the field.  The University City, Mo. native added an impressive five assists, four blocks, and four steals.

Vijay Blackmon  scored 19 points, dished out four assists, and compiled four steals.  Romelo Burrell registered his first double-double of the season against the Miners.

Missouri S&T lost by two points in overtime to Maryville on Thursday.  The Miners are shooting 41.9 percent from the field and average 71.5 points per game.  Lindenwood will look to bounce back after a tough road loss to Drury on Thursday night.  The Lions will close out their road trip on Saturday, as they will play the next three games inside Hyland Arena.
