Men's Basketball Travels to Little Rock on Wednesday

The Lindenwood men's basketball team (6-9, 1-1 OVC) will head to Little Rock, Ark. on Wednesday to take on Little Rock at 7:30 p.m.

Lindenwood is coming off of an impressive 82-64 win over Tennessee Tech on Saturday.  Keenon Cole went off for 23 points as he shot 8-of-10 from the floor, and hit 4-of-5 from three-point range.  Cole brought in seven rebounds and compiled two blocks to help the Lions earn their first OVC victory inside Hyland Arena.  The Streamwood, Ill. native earned OVC Newcomer of the Week for his outstanding play on the court.

Cam Burrell posted his second-consecutive double-double, including his third of the season after scoring 19 points and pulling down 11 boards.  Burrell added three steals and three assists to his stat sheet.  As a team, the Lions hit 11-of-23 from three-point range, and shot 52.7 percent from the field.  Kevin Caldwell Jr. scored 14 points, while dishing out six assists.

The Lions are shooting 42.3 percent from the floor, while averaging 69.7 points per game.  Chris Childs continues to lead the team in scoring with 13.9 points per night, while Caldwell Jr. (12.4), Burrell (11.5), and Cole (11.1) are averaging double figures.

Lindenwood will return home on Saturday to host Tennessee State for a 3:30 p.m. tipoff inside Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
