WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. – On Saturday morning, the Lindenwood track and field teams competed at the Edmonds-Wilt Invitational hosted by Purdue University. As a team, the Lions had some solid performances, having three third-place finishes and three fourth place finishes. The Lions also placed second in both the women's 4x400 meter and the men's 4x400 meter race.
Top Men's Performances
60m –
Brendon Hoyte placed third, running a 6.87 in the 60 meter.
Ayden Bredenkamp placed fourth running a time of 6.90.
High Jump –
Brendan Harter placed fourth, jumping 1.97 meters
Top Women's Performances
300m –
Gabby Russina ran a 40.50, to place third. In this race, Russina race broke her personal best in the 300.
Mile Run –
Holly Harding ran a 5:15.39 mile, placing third.
Shot Put –
Aliyah Robertson placed fourth, throwing the shot 13.33 meters.
