URBANA-CHAMPAIGN, ILL. – On Saturday, track and field took on the Gary Wieneke Memorial, hosted at the University of Illinois. The Lions had individuals place first in two events, second in one event, and third in two events, as well as having a multiplicity of individuals placing top five in their respective events. The Lions also placed third in the men's 4x100 meter relay and 4x400 meter relay.

TOP MEN'S PERFORMANCES
100 Meter – Jameel Walkes-Miller (10.46) placed first, recorded season best.
200 Meter – Walkes-Miller (20.74) placed first.
400 Meter – Brandon Noble (48.47) placed sixth, recorded personal record.
400 Meter Hurdles – Landon Oxford (54.21) placed fifth, recorded personal record.
Triple Jump – Dominique Hall (14.69m) placed second.

TOP WOMEN'S PERFORMANCES
400 Meter – Gabby Russina (55.28) placed third, recorded season best.
Discus – Kimberly Lugg (47.51m) placed third.
Javelin – Kendall Klewer (39.70m) placed fifth.
