CHARLESTON, ILL. – From Thursday through Saturday, track and field competed at the OVC Outdoor Championships. On the women's side of the championships, Lindenwood placed sixth with 48 points, and on the men's side, placed fifth with 55 points. Individually, Lindenwood had nine top-three finishes over the course of the championship. The Lions also had multiple program records broken, as well as a multiplicity of solid performances. Lindenwood capped of the event placing third in the men's 4x400 meter relay.

Sam Coupland scored 6389 points, placing fourth, breaking program record.
