The Lindenwood men's basketball team (9-17, 4-9 OVC) will begin a three-game road trip on Saturday for an 8:00 p.m. tipoff in Evansville, Ind. as the Lions visit Southern Indiana (13-13, 6-7 OVC).

Lindenwood is looking to bounce back from a tough 63-58 loss to SIUE on Thursday night in Hyland Arena.  Kevin Caldwell Jr. had a strong night in his 29 minutes played.  The Alton, Ill. native scored 13 points and dished out four assists to lead the team.  Cam Burrell tallied 10 points with nine boards, while handing out three helpers.  Jacob Tracey went 5-of-9 from the field to post 12 points. Lindenwood allowed 14 offensive rebounds, which led to 12 second-chance points for the Cougars.

The last time the Lions and Screaming Eagles met, Southern Indiana stole a road win by a final of 81-65 back on January 19.  Brandon Trimble led the Lions by hitting 3-of-4 from behind the arc in the first half.  The Screaming Eagles made just 5-of-17 from three-point range, but it was a different story in the second half.  Southern Indiana attacked the paint in the early portion of the second frame, taking a 42-36 lead over Lindenwood.  At the 15:46 mark, the Screaming Eagles hit a three-point bucket to spark an impressive 10-of-12 shooting from downtown.  Although Lindenwood forced tough shots, the Screaming Eagles found their stroke to put the game out of reach.

Isaiah Swope (14.2) and Jelani Simmons (14.0) lead the Screaming Eagles in points per game, while Jacob Polakovich is pulling down an impressing 12.9 boards per contest.
Lindenwood heads to Cookeville, Tenn. on Thursday to take on Tennessee Tech.
