The Lindenwood men's basketball team (11-20, 6-12 OVC) will take on Southeast Missouri State (15-16, 10-8 OVC) in the first round of the OVC Championship on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. from the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind.  Lindenwood enters as the No. 8 seed, while SEMO sits at the No. 4 seed.

The Lions have won their last two games, including a 105-102 double-overtime thriller over SEMO on Thursday.  Lindenwood hosted Little Rock in a win-or-go-home game, in which Kevin Caldwell Jr. sent the Lions to the postseason tournament with a three-point bucket to end the game.  After an outstanding performance on the court, Caldwell Jr. was named OVC Player of the Week, while Chris Childs earned Co-Newcomer of the Week recognition.

Lindenwood completed the comeback, after being down by 20 points with less than 15 minutes to go on Saturday.  Remy Lemovou scored the go-ahead bucket in the second overtime, which marked his first points of the game.  Caldwell Jr. sparked the Lions in Saturday's victory, as he scored the final six points for the Lions, including the postseason-clinching three pointer.

The Lions and Redhawks will meet for the third time this season.  SEMO won the first game by a margin of 94-71 in Cape Girardeau, Mo., while the Lions evened the series with a 105-102 double-overtime win this past Thursday.  Lindenwood is on a two-game running streak, while SEMO dropped its last two.

Keenon Cole (13.4) leads the team in points per game, while shooting 53.7 from the field and 46.9 percent from behind the arc.  Childs is collecting 13.0 points per night, while Caldwell Jr. has posted an average of 12.6 points per game.  Caldwell Jr. is leading the team with 104 assists, as Cam Burrell is near the top of the league with 44 blocks.
