On Friday and Saturday, Lindenwood track and field traveled to Urbana-Champaign, Ill., to compete at the Illinois Challenge, hosted at the University of Illinois. Lindenwood would compete against seven other teams. The Lions had some solid performances having one first-place finish, one second-place finish, and a multiplicity of top five finishes.

Jameel Walkes-Miller (6.80) placed second, breaking personal record.
Austin Carson (7.03) placed fifth.
200m – Walkes-Miller (21.92) placed first.
400m –
Landon Oxford (50.75) placed fifth.
1 mile –
Anders Hekkli (4:22.10) placed fifth. Broke personal best in the one-mile run.

Gabby Russina (25.38) placed fourth.
Sa'Nijah Houston (26.06) placed eighth.
400m – Russina (56.47) placed fourth, and Houston (58.46) placed eighth.
Shot Put –
Aliyah Robertson (12.56m) placed eighth.
